Register for the SEDA Awards Banquet

Celebrate your accomplishments with SEDA!

Saturday, January 31 at Covington Country Club. Doors open at 5:00PM, program begins at 5:30PM. SHARP. We’re celebrating our 50th anniversary, so our theme is Solid Gold. Gold attire – however you wish to interpret that – is highly encouraged. We’ll have a DJ, so plan on dancing. Bring the family or the farm: it’s more than just an awards banquet – it’s an opportunity to socialize, have some fun, and celebrate the accomplishments of all our members.

Tickets must be purchased by January 15, 2026 as we have to get a head count to the venue. We will attempt to seat you with your selected group if indicated, but we cannot guarantee it.

We Are Solid Gold

We’re celebrating 50 years of memories and the 2025 member achievements! We’d love to see everyone who is or has been a member of SEDA at our banquet to celebrate with us, so spread the word.

Important Details

  • Tickets are $60 per person. No table reservations but we will attempt to seat you with your group. Register by January 15th to join the fun.
  • Registration includes meal, music, prizes, and fun…. you could win one of many fabulous door prizes!
  • Cash bar for those of legal age.
  • There will be a short membership meeting and some special presentations before the awards presentations.

Fun for All 

  • Gold attire encouraged but not required. However you want to interpret ‘gold’ … go for it!
  • Door prizes! It’s always fun to win stuff.
  • Basket Raffle! Coordinate your stable, fellow riders, trainers, families, or just yourself… and build a ‘basket’ of goodies to be raffled. Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 each, cash only. A 50/50 raffle will be done with the proceeds: one lucky attendee will go home with half the pot: it could be YOU! Let us know (vicepres@sedariders.org or (504) 458-6794)  if you plan on bringing a basket. Baskets must be delivered to the banquet BEFORE 5:30PM so everyone has equal time to bid. 
  • Additional raffle items will be available to try your luck $10/chance or five for $20. Watch the website for details on these raffle items.
  • Dancing! We’ll have a DJ so bring your music requests and your favorite partner.
  • Purchase an ad in the Banquet Program! Congratulate a student or child, appreciate your trainer, advertise your services … the options are endless. Details may be found here.
