Saturday, January 27, 2023 at Money Hill Country Club. Doors open at 5:00PM, program begins at 5:30PM. SHARP. We’re planning a Downton Abbey/Bridgerton theme and appropriate attire is highly encouraged. We’ll have a DJ, so plan on dancing. Bring the family or the farm: it’s more than just an awards banquet – it’s an opportunity to socialize, have some fun, and celebrate the accomplishments of all our members.

Tickets must be purchased by January 10 as the venue has requested a head count two weeks ahead. We will attempt to seat you with your selected group, but no guarantees. Be sure to indicate an entree selection for each registrant.

We’re taking a trip down memory lane, back to a time of elegance and intrigue. Join us at Downton Abbey for an exquisite evening of dining, dancing, cocktails and socializing. You’ll never guess the intrigue that happens upstairs … and down.

Important Details

  • Tickets are $40 per person. No table reservations but we will attempt to seat you with your group. Register by January 10th to join the fun.
  • Registration includes meal, music, prizes, and fun…. you could win one of many fabulous door prizes!
  • Cash bar for those of legal age.
  • There will be a short membership meeting and some special presentations before the awards presentations.

Fun for All 

  • Period attire encouraged but not required.
  • Basket Raffle! Coordinate your stable, fellow riders, trainers, families, or just yourself… and build a ‘basket’ of goodies to be raffled. Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 each, cash only. A 50/50 raffle will be done with the proceeds: one lucky attendee will go home with half the pot: it could be YOU! We’d appreciate delivery of the baskets BEFORE the event so we can set them up and ensure everyone has equal time to bid. Baskets must be delivered to the banquet BEFORE 5:30PM. Contact Nicole (vicepres@sedariders.org or (504) 458-6794) to coordinate delivery and to let us know if you’re bringing a basket.
  • Additional raffle items will be available to try your luck $10/chance or five for $20, including a beautiful dressage bridle courtesy of Saddlery Solutions valued at over $200, custom browband gift certificate, trunk organizer/tote, and more.
  • Dancing! We’ll have a DJ, wear your dancing shoes and bring your music requests.
  • Purchase an ad in the Banquet Program! Congratulate a student or child, appreciate your trainer, advertise your services … the options are endless. Details may be found here.
