SEDA offers a variety of programs and awards to our members as a way to encourage participation as well as to thank our members.
All members are encouraged to take part in our Awards Program which culminates with an Awards Banquet at the end of each show season. It’s easy to participate, and there is great support and camaraderie among our members.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our club. We couldn’t do most of what we do without an army of dedicated people helping us. So, each year we acknowledge two individuals who have exhibited extraordinary support during the year. We award a Competing Volunteer of the Year and a Non-Competing Volunteer of the Year award at our annual Awards Banquet. We also have a Volunteer Incentive Program which offers incentives for our volunteers. Details are found in the Awards Program Guidelines.
Twice each year, SEDA also offers a scholarship to one junior and one adult rider. This scholarship is to be used for an equestrian-related educational event, such as a clinic. In return for the scholarship, the recipient is required to submit an article about their experience to be published in the e-newsletter and on the website.
