We’re extremely grateful for Leyla Nichols stepping in to fill the role of Membership Director for the remainder of the year. Leyla is new to the club, so we thought we would share a bit about her.
Leyla Nichols joined SEDA in 2014 after arriving in the New Orleans area in 2013 with her husband and 3 year old daughter. Leyla is originally from Atlanta, GA and grew up with horses, learning different styles of riding and driving. Her first job was with a carriage company at Georgia’s Stone Mountain Park. She spent most of her teen years working on hunter equitation and then switched to dressage around the age of 17 and never looked back! She trains with Leslie Morris on her 6 year old Oldenburg, Angel, and hopes to get in the show ring soon.
